The USCAA is pleased to announce the eighth annual Charity Cup Challenge in conjunction with this year’s USCAA National Corporate Cup Relays on July 19-20 in San Ramon, California. This year the Charity Cup Challenge raises funds for the American Diabetes Association®. Diabetes is a silent killer that effects 17 million people in the US - about a third of which don't even know it. Diabetes is the fifth leading cause of death in the US. Each day 2,740 people are diagnosed with diabetes. Complications from diabetes includes blindness, kidney disease, nerve disease, heart disease and stroke.

Over $60,000 has been raised by the Charity Cup Challenge for various charities over the years. With your help, we can make this year’s success the best ever! Get involved and be creative. It's a great feeling to know you've helped a great cause.

The USCAA supports this effort to dedicate ourselves to the spirit of service, excellence, and opportunity both on and off the track. I encourage you to enlist your team members in this year’s Charity Cup Challenge, and to start making plans for how your team can raise funds for the American Diabetes Association® in this charity competition.
