Post-Meet Party

Last Updated: July 12, 2000

This year’s post-meet celebration will be held at the Renton Community Center, one and a half miles from the track by vehicle.  Early birds can arrive as early as 6pm, and the party will continue until… well, until we have to drag you off the dance floor.

Don’t spoil your appetites during the day, because the menu is wicked good: buffet-style tossed salad, Asian noodle salad, pasta bar, Arroz con pollo (chicken with rice), Pacific Northwest salmon, and non-alcoholic beverage.  Your ticket price also includes two beer or wine drink tickets to exchange at the bar.  Additional drink tickets will be sold for $1 at the door throughout the evening.

In response to widespread requests for more diverse music selections, this year’s dance tunes will be provided by Gary Mason Entertainment, one of the most in-demand DJ’s in the greater Seattle metropolis.  Want to make sure your favorite dance tunes get played?  Forward your song requests BEFORE the meet to Carol Macias at cmmacias@aol.com.

Ticket price includes more food than you should eat in a week, non-alcoholic beverages, 2 tickets at the bar, a full evening of raucous dancing and entertainment, and more memories than you can pack in your suitcase.

Adult tickets are $15 in advance, sold during the meet at the USCAA main table, and $17 at the door. Kids 12 and under are $7. What a bargain!

Directions from the track: Turn left out of the stadium.  Proceed north on Logan to N. 6th Street.  RIGHT on N. 6th Street. RIGHT on Park Avenue North. LEFT on Bronson Way North. Stay straight to go onto SE Maple Valley Hwy.  RIGHT at first light after passing under I-405.  Ta-da!  Par-tay time!

This year we have made every effort to provide a quality event that will be fun for all, provide plenty of food, drink and music to meet all tastes while still being financially within our means. The higher price this year was set by your planning committee to allow the party to approach breaking even. We still slightly in the red but in much better shape compared to the past several years. Your support and attendance is much needed to make the party a success. Please plan to attend and bring all your friends and family.
