The USCAA runners at the 2006 USCAA Marathon awards ceremony voted on their location preference for 2007. The USCAA Board of Directors took this input and voted Monday night to follow the runner's top choice and hold the USCAA Corporate Cup Marathon in conjunction with the Pacific Shoreline Marathon in Huntington Beach, California on Super Bowl Sunday February 4th. The Pacific Shoreline Marathon is very excited about this partnership and even though their race sold out in 2006, has agreed to set aside 105 marathon entry slots for pre-registered USCAA runners. I am still working on the details but the pre-registration date will likely be in the middle of January, 2007--allowing plenty of time for last minute travel decisions. I'll be working on the Huntington Beach hotel selection and awards ceremony details over the next six months.
