Team Rules and Management
- Team Captain - Designate a team captain to coordinate your team with the USCAA.
Team captains click here for important information.
-
Registration -
Teams and Individuals register according to
Army Ten-Miler requirements.
Registration closes quickly, so register early!
- Team ATM Registration - USCAA Teams first register with the Army Ten-Miler as separate
8-member teams in the USCAA team division* by
clicking here.
Captains can register team(s) now and then assign runners to the team later (as long as they've individually registered in time also).
The race fills up quickly, so register your teams and individuals early!
(* - Make sure you choose the USCAA Corporate Division and not the other corporate division!)
- Individual ATM Registration - Individuals then register with the Army Ten-Miler by clicking here.
The race fills up quickly, so register your teams and individuals early!
- Team USCAA Registration - Team captains then simply identify their team and runners with the USCAA,
by clicking here.
- Individual USCAA Registration - Individuals must register with the USCAA sometime before the competition by clicking here, unless they are already USCAA members in the current calendar year. USCAA registration is good for one calendar year and covers all USCAA events. Individual registration is $15/person/year.
- Team Size - Unlimited team size with the best 4 runners scoring (see Eligibility, and Scoring). Now all your company's runners can compete together as one USCAA team, but you still register with the Army Ten-Miler as separate 8-member team(s). For example, if you have 13 runners on your team, register two 8-person teams and one 5-person team with the Army Ten-Miler. List all 13 runners as being on your USCAA team. Your USCAA team score is pulled from the best of those 13 runners (see Scoring). Each runner must be included on the USCAA team roster.
- Scoring - The combined best 4 runners' age and gender-adjusted finishing times make up the team's score. If fewer than 4 runners finisher on a team, all their age and gender-adjusted times are combined. Highest team score wins.
Finishing times are age and gender-adjusted based on established WAVA standards, which scores each runner's performance against the standard for their individual age and gender. As a result runners of every age and gender can compete together equally.
Finish times are based on Army Ten-Miler results. Each runner must be included on the USCAA team roster. Age of participants is determined as of race date. Runners finishing after the official close of the Army Ten-Mile course will not be scored for the USCAA Corporate 10-Mile Championship.
- Team Changes - USCAA team changes may be made up until one week before the competition. Individual and team changes for the actual event are governed by Army Ten-Miler requirements. Click here to go to their web site.
- Team Pick-Up - As per ATM requirements: Team pickup no longer exists!
